Hotel Reset is located at 7000 Split Rock Ave, Twentynine Palms, CA 92277, just minutes from the north entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Situated on 180 acres of desert landscape, the hotel offers easy access to the park's hiking trails, stargazing spots, and natural beauty. Reset is the only hotel that connects directly to Joshua Tree National Park.

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 PM.

  • If you are arriving early or need a later departure, please check with the front desk.
  • Late check-out may be requested for $25 per hour, subject to availability.
  • Early check-in is also based on availability—please call the front desk before your arrival.

Reset offers 65 design-forward guest rooms that connect you to the desert landscape. Choose from 40 Moonlight Queen rooms, 21 Desert King rooms, and 4 ADA-compliant Desert King rooms. Each space blends contemporary interiors with expansive private patios ranging from 320–500 sq ft, designed for seamless indoor/outdoor living.

Every room is outfitted with essentials for comfort and calm—think plush queen or king beds, a full bathroom with Jolie filtered showerheads, AC and heating, in-room coffee from Fellow, luxe bath amenities from Flamingo Estates, custom Walden robes, and more surprises. All rooms feature fully private outdoor patios with outdoor seating and Solo Stove fireplaces with handmade concrete surrounds, and select rooms offer outdoor tubs for soaking under the stars. Wine, snacks, and s'mores kits are available at the front desk for that extra desert touch.

Yes, pets are welcome for a one-time fee of $125 per room. Restrictions do apply, however, so please review the hotel's pet policy on our website or contact the hotel with any questions.

Reset Hotel features a heated, outdoor pool and jacuzzi offering uninterrupted mountain views. We’re certainly a little biased, but this is hands down the best pool in the high desert. It’s the perfect place for relaxing after a day of exploring Joshua Tree National Park or enjoying the desert sunshine with some cocktails.

Yes, all guest rooms at Reset are fully insulated and air-conditioned, ensuring comfort during the warmer desert months.

Daily housekeeping is not provided, but we’re here if you need anything—just text the front desk 24/7. For stays of 3 nights or more, a housekeeping refresh will be provided on the third day.

Complimentary parking is included for one vehicle per room. Do you have a larger vehicle or need additional spots? Please contact us in advance at info@stayreset.com or call 760-362-1600. We also offer two EV charging stations. (Please note: RV hookups are not available.)

  • Spring (March to May): Ideal for perfect weather and outdoor activities. The desert is alive with mild temperatures (70s-80s °F), making it great for hiking, stargazing, and exploring JoshuaTree.
  • Fall (September to November): Ideal for cooler weather and fewer crowds. Temperatures are comfortable (70s-90s °F), perfect for outdoor adventures, and it is a more serene time to visit.
  • Summer (June to August): Ideal for desert heat lovers and stargazing. While temperatures can exceed 100°F, it is perfect for indoor relaxation, lounging poolside, or taking in the night skies.
  • Winter (December to February): Ideal for mild temperatures and fewer tourists. It is great for hiking and exploring Joshua Tree with cooler temperatures (60-70°F). Unwind by a cozy firepit under the stars in the evening.

Reset Hotel is located less than 5 miles from the North Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, making it a convenient base for hiking, stargazing, and exploring the desert's natural beauty.

  • Hidden Valley: A short, easy hike that offers stunning views of the park’s iconic rock formations. It is also a great spot for picnicking and wildlife viewing.
  • Skull Rock: A famous rock formation shaped like a skull, located just off the main road. It is a popular stop for photos and a must-see in the park.
  • Cholla Cactus Garden: A striking area filled with thousands of Cholla cacti, especially beautiful at sunrise or sunset when the golden light enhances the cacti's unique glow.
